AIDS walk takes place every year during the Fall Quarter in the city of Los Angeles. This is a huge citywide event where Hermanas participate in raising awareness for AIDs and walk in solidarity, as well as meet many other HaU chapters de Southern California. Additionally we will be selling duros and aguas frescas Wednesday Oct. 11th on Bruin Walk to raise funds that get donated for the cause. |
Goals Against Cancer is our annual community service and fundraising event! Soccer teams get together to pay a fee and compete in a tournament to win FREE tickets to a basketball game! Additionally all proceeds from this event go to the Junior Foundation Charities, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children diagnosed with cancer through programs that look after their physical, financial, and emotional well-being.

Every quarter Hermanas participate in the Compton Initiative Project where they have the chance to help in one of the many beautification project in Compton! Past projects have included painting schools, installing fire alarms, and doing work in block clean ups. |
Health and Ed is a free conference geared towards high schoolers. This event offers the opportunity to learn about higher education, mental health awareness, and women empowerment! Students also have the chance to network with UCLA students!
